I think I've finished, but the parsing of one eludes me.

56a. 'Calculus papers, any number in core principle of policy' (6,5). K?D?E? S?O?E. It must be 'kidney stone' (calculus), but how do I get there?

Mamya? Jazzgirl? It'll be so obvious when you tell me!

KEY - core

ID - papers, - possibly IDS?

N - any number

TONE - principle of policy

I would be struggling to solve it "forwards"!

Good call, jazzy! However isn't it usually "keynote"?
