I've finished, but I can't fully parse one.
27a Drink bowl of soup noisily, this 1 of 5 a day?

N?C?A?I?E

I have NECTARINE. I can see the def., and NECTAR for the drink, but can anyone explain the noisy bowl of soup?

At first, one of the most baffling for a long time (easier when you hit on the mini-theme of course). Does anyone agree?

Actually, 1ac was a write-in, then 4dn, so I just had to look for where the others fitted - a flying start.

Some of the clueing was a bit quirky, but enjoyable. NE was the last to fall.

Perhaps it didn't help, not being so familiar with all those heroines from the spate of film versions & series: I only really know the one (feminine one)
because we were forced to read all about her at the very immature age of 16 or so!
