Downloaded fine for me. Thanks AB and Les for all the hard work.

Now for the feedback - well I certainly learnt a few words such as Astroturfing , fenestration and eclaircissment, to be honest in awe of all the setters but I suppose the clues that stand out for me are the kick yourself ones. Such as 41ac laserdiscs, 6 ac pomaded etc and 16ac which may have had great surface reading but frustrated the hell out of me :)

Great crossword – I managed about half. The double phase is intriguing but not the reason for my modest performance. I’ll check the solution before commenting on my favourite clue

Can't believe I got MIKES wrong but a phase2 correct answer would have helped!
I did not know MEANIES although I was a Beatles fan and saw them live twice.
My favourites were the ones that made me laugh -
POMADES DEAF AIDS EMERY and TUMMY but there were so many excellent clues.
