Good afternoon folks.

Here is the wordplay file for the Phase Two clues.
I've sent these first so that anyone who hasn't quite finished the final grid can have a last go at solving it with all the blanks filled in on the original grid clues.

I will send the final wordplay file and solution pages in a couple of days.

Once again Les thanks for all your hard work.
I did pretty well on these but can't believe I got 17d wrong!
I put SUN BURNING - as yoghurt can be used to soothe it. Icarus flew too close to the sun with 'wings like an eagle'.
I realised it didn't parse properly but could not see anything else once I got that in my head.
Sorry Djawhufc but it's made me chuckle which can't be bad!

Thanks Les and especially AB trailing through those 300 emails. All makes perfect sense now except I still can't see 10down where does the no come from - sorry if I am being more daft than ever:)

said on oath = PROMISE

Then if you say there is no 'ise' on the word prom[ise]
then this would take you to the dance - Dance is the PROM
# So there is no 'ise' - no-ise - noise

Thanks Les wondering if there are any favourites for phase 2 though I think some finished the grid without answering all of Phase two. :)

Thanks, Les and AB! I'm sure everything in my grid is right, but I had two wrong and one blank in this part. Some great clues.

Similar here: I didn't get the "tuck/tucker" one (though my tummy could do with one, there's too much good tuck here). I look forward to the completed grid, to see whether indeed there are no errors there!
