I would appreciate some help with the precise parsing for these.....

Country residence that has new roof, close to Vichy - CHATEAU? would be a French country residence but it hardly seems cryptic - and why new roof?

More than one person sorry to have lost a little money drops in again - RE ENTERS?

In field, group of footballers likely to bend plant - LEAF CLIMBER? I thought it might be 'Likely to bend' = LIMBER + 'Group of footballers' = AFC (Arsenal) but that leaves 'LE' for 'In Field' so I've obviously gone wrong somewhere.

Celebrity playwright's said to watch The Sky At Night - STARGAZE? If 'Celebrity' = STAR then who is the 'Playwright' (I think it may be a homophone)

I think that the playwright is John Gay who wrote the Beggar's Opera
