Probably "by no................. of means" : 1st part sounds like "Buy no .............."; 2nd anagram of "some fan".
Is it 4 or 5 words? Please clarify position of letters in middle part!

12 might be La Fontaine - see:

As for parsing, I can't get any further than the "font" for typeface.
