I have E.R...Y and I think the 5th letter might be I

Earthly??

see = Ely
sculpture perhaps= art
hard = H

can't quite get the rest.

Material = Earthly stuff(wealth, a body etc)

Thanks, Trevor, I think 'earthly' must be right. Being from Oz I didn't think about 'see' in the church sense of the word. Don't think we have 'sees' here. Now the other answer is wrong so here goes with that:
