The italics tag doesn't have a problem.

So it's just the underline that's malfunctioning.

Would someone else please try entering some text followed by slash (character) u in square brackets.

i posted a closing tag on the peer review thread and it worked. also tried opening an italics tag, without closing - had no effect on the next posts.

i think you are right, it is just the underline thats dodgy (unless this post is all BOLD).

That proves another person can close an underline tag.

The problem was still evident here a few minutes ago.

I tested the other tags earlier. They're OK. Turned off.
