I am having trouble with the last group, all intersecting with 13 across. Just giving the letters I am more confident about it is:
Odd bird cry, not hard to repeat mechanically (3,6)

I have owl parrot

not sure if def. right

Thanks, I see it now and the letters fit with my provisionals

Definitely right: the kakabo can't fly , so is odd; (h-)owl=cry; to parrot=to repeat mechanically
