I have lots of problems with the top and left side which
Might resolve if ivcould get some help with 1a.
Bob cut cloth back stitching around upper part. I have S*********maybeT***. I'm curious about what it could be.

Yes. I think I have the answer but I'm struggling to work out how. Suture is certainly right.

To "bob" is to "curtsy" - "cut" the last letter off to give "curts".
"rep" is a type of "cloth".
Put these "back" in "suture".
So - SU PER STRUC TURE

I'm sure that you are right in your parsing, rh142, but I had it differently!
bob = shilling = S after (on the way back) CURT for CUT
(REP as you had it)
CURTS(Y) is much better, though.
