1. Mouth on fish reveals oily substance (6). Lipid. Clearly lip= mouth but how do you get fish from id?

Man is after beer initially then a dance (6) . I think this is bishop ( 'is' after the first letter of beer follow by hop=a dance ) but haven't a clue how all that adds up to the definition which is 'man'.
