deed instead of peer???

Thanks to one and all so far - I could have looked
all these up in tonight;s solution but I hate doing
this! Should that 8-lettered one be SPENDING, the
4-letter one with "title" in the clue will be -E-D,
so is this possibly BEND?

I prefer 'deed' too.

Well, Malone and Trevor - obviously DEED will
fit and I think I prefer this to my BEND! So thanks.
