Thank you for taking the time to ask for clarification on my clues

Post number 6: 'Mad?' was meant as a meaning of 'possessed'

Post number 23: I was identifying - benet 'an exorcist' as defined in Chambers

Post number 28: It was a further play on 'benet' hidden in the clue

Familiar(demon) driver in (hidden) Beneton F1 colours

I hope that clears things up. I will endeavour to do better as my clues obviously are somewhat obscure. Thanks

Well, it's that time again. This judging job gets harder everytime because I feel the standards are certainly rising within the forum. Some superb clues this week with anagrams from mrw (27) ixion (13) and imagcq (13), complex anagrams from aristophanes (12) and ixion (25), Extraction anagrams from ChrisE (4) samgamgee (22) BBM2 (14 & 30) and Busby (20), Hidden containers from Rambler (21) and therogue (26), Cryptic Defs from Paul (10 & 11) Pastille (16 & 17) samgamgee (7) and Busby (19), mrw's mixed abbreviation clue at (5), Greedy kite's synonymous charade at (24) and the lovely succinct 'airing of the imp' from AB at (9)
But there has to be one winner and this week for his audacity for borrowing my 'Sea monster' from Aristo's clue word 'Necrotype' it has to go to our new forum friend 'ginge' for his beautifully written 'short & sweet' clue:
