I cannot get to grips with metric measures. I have gone from 8st 9. to 7stone 6 in five weeks(not intentially) I have to see a medico and need Kilo weights. Please can someone give me accurate conversions? Thank you in advance for any help.

8st 9 lb = 54.884 kg
7st 6lb = 47.173 kg

Hi sunshinelady. If you have digital scales they will almost certainly have a switch or button to display in Kgs rather than Stones/ounces. I wish you all the best

You shouldn`t worry - I`m sure your doctor is quite used to people (like me) who are not happy with metric.
He /she will have adjustable scales.

For your future reference , when you are shopping for example 1 kilo is equivalent to2.2lb or 2 lb 3 1/4oz. Good luck with the medics ! X
