I am not absolutely sure of the 'P' but pretty confident of the S and T.

What's the clue for 6D Richard? There's spot-welded for example .....

The clue is a picture, and a clue in words
There is a cartoon of a well, and a gravestone.
Joined, but heatedly (4 6)
This leads me to 'welded' for the second word.
First word is ?U?T

There's also BUTT WELDED (can't quite get the cartoon)
