Hi folks stuck on a few this week:

1. 14 may have 27 in hand (7)
2. Tv Detective with some uncommon kinks (4)

Can only think of Bony for No.2; however most references show him as Boney.

i think that 1 refers to clue/answer to 14 and 27 could you please post clues and/or answers

Helena, 1. 14 may have 27 in hand (7) that is the clue. It is 5 down in the RTE guide 50. I have it starting with L - - - T - R - . I am totally blank about it.
2. Tv detective with some uncommon kinks (4) I have M - - K. That is presuming my other answers are correct. Thanks for your help

MONK (It's in the clue)

helbar, Helena means that you need the answers to 14 & 27 to help find the solution to this clue. If you don't have them yet, what are the clues?

I made 14 Postman therefore answers LETTERS

Apparently there was a detective series called MONK and you see the word in between the clue.

Thanks everyone, when you hear the answers it all falls into place. Helena, sorry hadnt a clue what you meant, of course the answer is letters. I never heard of a detective called Monk but it fits. Thats me done for another week.
