Cannot fully parse these:-
1 Ac, - General strike? Not half! (I have
EISENHOWER as the answer).
4 Down - At centre of group nothing is
wasted (I have OUT OF IT as the answer).
15 Ac. - From the east, Marlowe honours Indian
dish. (I have TIKKA as the answer).

15a Christopher Marlowe's nickname was KIT, so TIKKA (reading from east to west) = AK (also known as) KIT

I think I'll go for the knighthood on this
one as "ALSO KNOWN AS" would have to
be "AKA" but thanks for the KIT bit!

Besides the "OUT OF IT" query, there's
another I meant to add. That's 14 Ac.
which is:- "Having spilt tea in chair, girl and
boy rubbed up the wrong way". For the
answer, I have IRRITATED, but the
composition partly eludes me.
