That is an awful lot of bones to break.
I believe the plates mostly stay in these days mrw, especially if one is over about 40. They're usually titanium which doesn't set off airport alarms. The ones holding up my right eye don't anyway.

Hi guys - thanks for the well wishes. Yes Rosalind, we over 40's (?) will have the plates to the end of our days and will not set off alarms in airports, I'm assured :)

Syzzie: Go ahead; tell me that what you told RE to do doesn't mean the same thing in Canada as it does in the US. I don't think it's possible with all those drugs- unless of course Viagra's one of them.
