All finished however I cannot understand why the answer to 24,28down. Clue is 'odd bits of invective needed - for this CD, that is' 4,7
I have four hundred as the answer or am I completely wrong?

CD roman numerals for 400
Alternative letters of invective = iv c ie (that is)

odd bits of invective = I V C + ie (that is ) = four hundred
