Chambers word wizard gave me LEFTISTS but could not figure out the wordplay so thanks for that - presume Marx Bros were not Groucho etc but Karl

21A got OLIO from thesaurus.com so just 25A and I can relax

Thanks for the help, got no chance sorting out the secondary part of this puzzle which is looking for 24 of the first 25 chemical symbols from the periodic table and submitting the missing 25th for a prize - think Big Dave has me beat!
