I agree with earlier correspondents - it's a bit tough this week & I scarcely have begun to scratch the surface.

However I put one in straightaway, but am now entertaining doubts :
5A - Stop kidding! (4, 2)
I put in GROW UP, but the 'R' is rather awkward.
Can anyone confrim this?

No, it was Wind Up - which can mean 'stop' and 'kidding'.
