anagram of two vrries is two rivers, so
Tyne and Tees ?

or Tyne and Wear I think is better.

The other one is Flintshire - Andrew Flint(off) + shire (breed of horse)

Oh dear, I do hope this does not open the flood gates to this Quiz that actually does not close until 25th SEPTEMBER 2013 ! or I shall personally bin my entry.

I am sorry I answered this. I didn't realise that the quiz had that long to run. I think before I answer quiz questions again I will ask for more details of the quiz.

It is the OP who should be sorry , not those kind enough to proffer answers in good faith.

At least with a crossword, even if you are helping someone towards a possible win you know the date is likely imminent and needs a quick response.

All I would ask is that the OPs put full and clear details then those who wish to answer can make their choice.
