Good one, Hayley.

I trust your use of who's instead of whose was part of the jest.

My post at #30 was probably lame. I'm not well-versed in the lingo.
"Your so not rite" was meant as a joke about the "text zombies" who have no concept of spelling or punctuation.
They are also a major hazard on the road - several near misses.
Darwinism will take care of it. (-;

Yes. Just type Harper's in Search and you'll find all of them.

btw MY sp. m. are due to a sudden tendency with my computer to print only alf the letters I hit.
I'm sure Syzygy knows the answer.
Is it going to be expensive if I take it to the shop tomorrow?
Maybe it's because I've been banging them a bit hard lately (no double entendre intended).............

alf=half, of course (I've NOT suddenly gone Cockney)
P.S. This constant correcting of my own text is slowly getting on my wick....................

"On the fritz" is indeed a common expression here- same as "on the blink".

GK
Please stop hitting keyboard keys hard! I did that for a couple of years and couldn't understand why my finger joints started swelling (and eventually hurting). Someone said "Why do you hit the keys so hard?" and It suddenly clicked. I stopped and eventually my hands stopped hurting, though some of the damage is permanent.
One can do so much damage without realising it. i used to clench my jaws (damaging my teeth) and sleep tightly curled up (knee). Putting these things right has relieved a lot of pain!
How are your ribs?
