?RR?STE? It looks like 'arrestee'. 'rest' being a support in snooker. But how does 'aree' relate to chain. or 'ared' if the answer is 'arrested?

Looks like ARRESTEE is correct

A mountain range is a chain
Serra is a mountain range - around = arres + tee (supports a golf ball)
