I recently changed to Win 8 from Vista and lost all my Puzzlex download. I have recently seen short term membership for a download for Puzzlex but at what seems very high cost at CNET. Might suit a game-player but not a 60++ OAP. Is there a solution? Wouldn't mind paying for a CD.

I tried a few sites for a free version but they didn't actually have it & were scams to download tool bars & other unrelated stuff.
