Stuck for one on Scotland on Sunday. All help appreciated,

1 down: Sort of paper obtained aboiut quarter past five (5)

Tricky one, Al! I thought "flier" i.e. as in "taking a flier" leaving work sharply - also a paper object. However doesn't fit with the "o". If the "o" comes from "fore" it is probably right!
