Many thanks done and dusted apart from the uncertainty about kennelmaid.

I'm still struggling with my last 2 on this cats and dogs' puzzle (nos. 28 and 62), although no guarantee all my answers are correct.

'She can help to accommodate Danes' (10)- not convinced it's kennelmaid as all the other answers relate to the animals and not people.

'but without scent track William's thick friend' (3,6). I can't get Violet Elizabeth Bott into any sort of answer

I agree with you lady bee, alot of these questions have very good hints on another thread started by jul. I know there are now 272 hits on this thread but there are alot of answers there that are being asked again.

yes, a lot of very good clues/hints have been given and yet people still can't fathom out the answers. I think they'd rather not put any effort in and just be given the answer. Maybe cryptic quizzes aren't for them?
