what is the Q and A for number 11 ?

Does the 11 refer to another clue?

Just realised my giving the clue for 11 would be of no use to you.

You have the answer to 11 - assuming this is correct then if you take its letters and remove "cite" you will be left with 5 letters that make up 12ac.

11: 1st 3 wds = def., adj.
anag of ice surrounding a common weapon
12: if you do this to "cite + this" (=anag) you'll have 11
