25 has been answered in a previous thread by jim c as magallan goose or magallan snipe

a thought for 24. house sparrow.

I was leaning toward the possibility of a mistake by the setter, and that the doctor in Question 24 was Simon Sparrow from the Doctor In The House series, until extensive research revealed that the American TV series General Hospital featured a character called Dr Robin Scorpio.
