I think that I have them all, save for 8d.
The letters which I have are: -a-g-t-/r-p-e-
The clue is: Upset tabloid containing dread, rubbished paper as aggressive performer (7,6)

It looks like naughty rapper, or something similar but perhaps I'm on the wrong track?

rapper is correct - the first word is a "youff" misspelling of a word.

g(angst)a r(apper)-
anagram of paper
angst = dread
rag reversed is the tabloid

I'd never have worked that out, though I had flirted with 'rag', angst never came to my mind and 'Gangsta' would not have occurred to me in a month of Sundays, even wit the first, (excellent) clue.
