I think if I put strong minded for 6D then I get damned for 10 A BUT I already have damned for 13A so I must have a mistake somewhere!!

13a. Jammed seems to work

I'm repeating what I think I saw on an earlier post - many of the answers in this puzzle begin with'd', and end with 'ed'.
