I quite sympathise with the mystery of the missing eggs. They never seem to last here either!
This year I bought a chocolate bunny as a gift for a friend, but by the time I got home from the shop it had melted into a chocolatey blob in my bag...there's something to be said for an Easter in cooler climes, snow notwithstanding. I was obliged, nay - forced, to eat the erstwhile rabbit myself then go and buy another one (which I have kept in the fridge this time!)

rossim, I thought emrach had written 71 also, then I saw her parents are alive and thought it was like credit in our local shop- only given to those aged 80 with both parents still alive!
Hymn not in A and M, emrach, Sounds a really bizarre line. there are some in Shakespeare as well. Charles Wesley is one of those who have loads of descendants he never dreamed of- and doesn't actually have. People with his surname like to add themselves to his family tree, without proof or even if the evidence suggests it's very unlikely. This applies to others - James Cook and Thomas Hardy both have people claiming to be descended from them, in spite of having no heirs.
