Hi Mamya, thanks for that. In the second one, I looked at 'Spot' but can it be a Synonym for 'Trouble' if used on it's own?

sorry yes (R) into SPOT [trouble] and SCAR [top of cliff]

Yeah you're right Mamya, I was thinking it had to be used as part of a phrase eg 'I'm in a 'Spot of trouble' but, of course, one could say 'I'm in 'Spot'.

Well worked out mamya...the "or" in the clue seems rather unneccessary

It isn't there I double checked.

What I should say is that I am completing it as I go along, so when I relooked at the clue saw the 'or' was a typo by OP.
