Hello! I gather between the lines that you were the main person enquiring after me, and I thank you for that - I have missed my Forum Friends, and especially our children and dog chats. Pleased to hear Bob has left uni with your blessing, and hope she is very happy with her new plans. I can't tell you how strongly I feel about people (especially youngsters) enjoying their lives while they can. It's a year today since my wonderful nephew died suddenly from mengitis, totally tearing our world apart. It certainly puts things in perspective. I would never normally put this on a public forum, and it's taken me a year to do so - but I can't be doing with being all mysterious. Anyway, life goes on after a fashion, and most other things are ok. The freaky puppy is still mad and gorgeous, and the daughter is still up and down at uni, I wouldn't be massively surprised if she 'does a bob' at some point, although she's booked her accommodation for next year. On top of her other difficulties she had to have emergency surgery a month ago, thankfully while she was home for the weekend. It never rains.... but she's made a good recovery and hopefully won't suffer any long-term effects. The son is working hard on his dissertation and had his 21st birthday last week. So, in a nutshell that's what's been going on with me. I look forward to hearing the latest from your end, and seeing you on clue chain (although i have a new commitment on Monday afternoons so may not get there til a bit later). Speak soon, take care xxx

Hi mrs T

It's lovely to hear from u --- but am so very sorry to read your sad news. Words are so horribly inadequate --- i am thinking of you xxxx.

I was so relieved when bob finally made the decision to leave uni, she was really making herself ill with the stress. She has a great job now in a London fashion store, which she loves --- and gets a very good discount on the clothes - all the better. She was 21 a while ago -- we had a great day shopping, lunching and drinking too much wine whilst people watching in Covent Garden. She is saving madly to go to Canada this summer -- she has a friend there and they r planning a big exciting trip. She is starting a TEFl course in April which will allow her to teach abroad --- so lots of hard work -- it's a qualification that can be done in modules so u can spread out the workload to suit yourself.

So glad your daughter is ok -- what a shock -- as u say it never just rains.

The hairy hound is great, he is so mature now -- and a real gentleman, (all that training has really paid off) now and again we see the puppy especially when he has a nutty in the garden-- very funny. He is molting at the moment -- i sweep up enough hair everyday to knit another dog -- i have invested in a professional comb which gets down to the bottom layers of his coat -- i groom him every other day and usually have enough hair to fill a supermarket bag!!!! However this is typical of his breed and i knew this when we got him.

We were all getting worried by your absence but u need to thank emrach who contacted norah --- i am so glad she did xxxx
Hope to see u later on clue chain -- we have some new people who have joined so its quite lively 2 weeks ago we had 270 posts in one afternoon Take care, and speak v soon XXXXXX

Hello Ladies....

I love a bit of persifage, and there is so much us ladies ( ( and gents)
could talk about.....

Not sure if this is the place...so...I have a suggestion.

I did have bobs mums email....but now can't remember your hubby's name to retrieve it!!!!

How about if we ask the super duper Les40 to be a " go between " to pass on either email addresses or Facebook info.....in saying that, I am not a fan, but would tolerate it, if it was just us " bletherers....

Maybe I should run it past Les first....lots to tell about daughters and Uni .....
