Re 60. This is an anagram of the first two words which will give you a painter. Dignity and ???? form the subjects of one of his paintings.

lady bee. I think 'mongrel' refers to ,anagram' of the first two words. Author of quiz has used some unusual words indicating anagrams this time . I thought the word was written as 1 word not 2. Thanks for help with 60 - will work on it.

18. Look in the dictionary at the very beginning of the R words.

30. Kid is not human; row is not argument; stray is a verb

39. Short word for youth, written backwards and inside a popular capital city. It will give an animal you've probably not heard of!

Talking of last ones, mine are: No.61 Camera came out to get revolutionary hunter who uses scent... (5) I was thinking a film title/character..

65. Greatly admired man retired after drink and then became a devoted person (6) Completely foxed by this one.

Any hints at all please?

Thanks for your help squizball. Actually I had tried previously taking came out of camera but it didn't lead me anywhere but now I have it.

Re 65 - if you are pointing me towards the penultimate question, I can't really see how the first two parts of the clue fit in.

If you need any further clues for yours, just shout.

38. It's a film from years ago although I must admit I didn't get the 'Roger bit'

50. It's a person on board a merchant ship, the name of a chair and Byron's dog

52. It's an anagram of Carol and gold and Dean doesn't refer to a particular person, think religious man.

53. I really liked this answer. I think it was Australian slang. Something a coffin is placed on with street going back in the middle of it.
