Thank you sudokulover & winnie will have another try at those but have been unable to get an anagram for 48 with using those words.

Thank you so much winnie for your advice on chambers I had been working with universal anagram solver.
However still not worked out nos 6 & 25 also need 23, 58, 72, 75,94,95 & 99 a pointer in the right direction would be such a help please.
Would love to get this finished, have spent hours on it so that I can work on some of the other quizzes I have.

Hi puzzled. Here are a few clues to be going on with....
6. The word is in the clue. Take the last 2 letters of pretty and the 1st 2 letters of kendal.
23. Starts with w (woman) + 4 letter word for assistance
Answer another word for a young man and a young dog.
58, Anagram of 1st and 2nd word.
75 papers = press with two words of article in the middle.
94. church service = mass with 4 letter word for an argument in the middle.
99 anagram of 'deny rough'.
OK?

After reading it loads of times,I now think kennelmaid looks a better answer.

Thanks to you winnie I have now got 6,23,58, & 99 I am still working on your other clues.
This leaves me with nos 25, 72,83 & 95 The end is in sight at last !!!!!!

Hi puzzled. Try these hints for size
25. An area on a darts board where you score 25 pts also the name of a sweet
72, Anagram 'papers' to give pen name of an author who created a 1920 detective who's name is the answer.
83.Anagram of 6th and 7th words
95. Investigate Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

winnie I'm afraid it's me again with your help I finished the last clue last night or thought I had until I counted 51 dogs & 49 cats !!!!!!
Can you confirm for me that no 25 is b---- e--- & if it is a cat or a dog. I know nothing about darts so possibly am not working down the right lines as it doesn't seem to have any relevance to no. 24, I'm hoping this is where my problem is. Thanks.

Hi again winnie after a bit more research I think it is no. 25 causing me the problem but not sure if the answer is B---- E-- or T---- C--, please can you point me in the right direction.
