hi gk, ta for help. 10a-- not familiar with BBC jargon, didn't know dreck was in english dictionary. only cuban dance i know is rumba, which doesn't fit. :-((

should have picked up chess ref.
just checked on the net for outcome of analysis of "had misgivings" (rued and a) and dance . came up with rueda, a cuban dance like salsa. BUT IT'S NOT IN ANY OF MY DICTIONARIES.

I googled RUEDA and, yes it is a dance, and yes, it wasn't in any of my dictionaries either !
