Can anyone help me with the 4 letter word in the left
side of the perimeter up from 26?

Similarly the 5 letter word along the top from 4.

Which clues contain the definitions for these words?

Rosie, I think that the definition for the 4-letter word across the top can be found in 30a and for the 5-letter up from 26 in 25d, though I confess that I had never heard of the latter.
