I looked at my post 4 and decided it needed a bit explanation. Alastair Sim played the Headmistress, Miss Fritton, in the originall St. Trinians films.

I got it chrise - a great and versatile actor. I'm sure Julian & Sandy would have approved

Yes - a really great actor. Strangely, Alec Guiness seemed to play Alastair Sim playing the part of the Professor in "The ladykillers", if you see what I mean.
