Terry, I think that the U may also be wrong in the perimeter as I make 13a as beginning with A.

Oh yes, I agree with Nick on that A.

The definitions I have are:
Just (12a)
Quilt (22a)
Sheep (25a)
Stone (29a)
With difficulty (6d)
Songbook (10d)
Cold (15d)
Person (18d)
Spot (21d)
Female (23d)
Exodus (24d)

I can see "HYMNAL" for "songbook" across the bottom. Also after that looks a lot like SYNCOPE, but that doesn't look like any of those definitions, so I may have something wrong in the list of definitions.

I can see DUVET (Quilt) in the centre row.

There are no extra words in 12a, 25a, 18d or 23d. There is an extra word in 6d but it's not "with difficulty".

Could you possibly give the clue numbers for the correct 4 clues with extra words?
