After seeing Julies answer for 27a I now have:

22D : Uncovered, with nothing in common (4)

I now have N?W?

I'm still stuck !!

I've just had another thought about NOWT :

UN = NOT
Covered with = W in NOT
= NOWT (a common way of saying nothing !)

I'll settle for that !!

nothing (in common [dialect]) = Nowt
Cannot explain 'Uncovered, with'

My dictionary gives UN = NOT
I don't like W as a contraction of WITH though but I expect someone will say it's acceptable!

Hi Rossim
w = with; is in Chambers D.
I'd go for NOWT too, but don't like the parsing so far.
