Can anyone help me parse these?
"Like some meat old fool found under
inverted pot?" (MUTTONY). Can' t see a pot
ANYWHERE!
"Jack's owed what's accrued, including
crazy bet. (INDEBTED). Where does Jack
feature, I wonder?

mut reversed - tum - pot?
Clue reads "Jock" - scottish
answer is addebted - added(accrued) with anagram of bet inside

I guess this is a Down clue.

An old word for a Simpleton is 'Tony' and reverse Tum (Pot belly)

meant to put "Jock" and not "Jack". However,
I appreciate finding out about the word.
I've never heard of "addebted". Great stuff!
