I need these help parsing these or correcting them if they're wrong..

Remark about LibDems, say, being inadequate in the chamber (11) COMPARTMENT (Chamber) I can see 'COMMENT' - 'Remark' but why LibDems for 'Part' and 'Inadequate'?

Island worker one protects to the half way point - ANTIGUA? If 'Worker' is 'ANT' and 'One - 'I' then what is 'Half Way point'?

Formula for giving mates instructions - MANDATES (Instructions) I see 'MATES' but why 'AND' for 'Formula'?
