I'm puzzled by the parsing for the following..

Idle blue berets moved in to take control - UNOCCUPIED is the only word that seems to fit the letter pattern but I can't see how it fits either by def. or parsing?

Singer gains from medley of organs and pianos - SOPRANO If it's a 'medley' of Organs and P(ianos) then there's an 'O' missing.

Unique switch enthralled everybody at first - ONE OFF

UN (United Nations) wear blue berets, move in to take control - occupied - unoccupied = idle?

Take "gains" from organspianos and you're left with anagram of soprano?

Switch = on/off + e first letter of everybody.

On/off (switch) takes in (enthralled) everybody at first - e, giving on e off - unique?
