I have a few answers I'm not sure about - could anyone please confirm (and if possible explain them):
45a Slip made by Finnish leaders meeting church official = FIELDER
54a Sketch fish returning to the sheltered side = LEEWARD
43d Opening pay take account of ruin= WRECKAGE

45 (fi)nish leaders + elder = church official
54 draweel backwards

Thanks Mamya - I hadn't met reck in that context. My only consolation is that the answers were correct although I didn't know quite why!
