Late again can anyone help with 14 across Quite big 7 letters currently I have T.e.i.h but it could all have gone wrong as I am not sure about 6 down and 8 down. Also can't get 43 across ?a.e.i.

I don't think we'll get very far without the clues!

14a could be largish if your letters are wrong

14 across - quite big, could be tallish as suggested but that makes my7 down wrong, as the clue was prince consort I thought answer was regent but with tallish in there it would be .l.e.t
8 down is falsifies - I have .i.d.e. thought it might be fiddles but not sure
43 across clue is snack I have .a.e.i.
