The answer is STRIP - you have a letter wrong, by the look of it!

i know that it looks like ?t?L?, but that is a capital i (try copy/pasting the letter into google). seems to happen quite a lot here.

Hi Trevor - Thanks for the point you made about
the possible confusion with "i" and "l" - you may have a point as I've just typed a small "I" and "L"
and they do look somewhat similar. I was also
reminded of this when I worked on a recent xword
and the chemical symbol for thallium came up.
It seems that it's written "Tl" (capital T and small
L) which I've found rather puzzling.

for me, it does seem to happen more often than typo's would explain, i think.
if that's the case then i don't know whether the problem would lie with the site or something in my personal settings.
oh well! not a big deal.
