The clue is-
International team training sub for one year(5)

I have E?Y?T and the answer appears to be EGYPT
(an international team). PT could be training and Y (year) But - the rest?

International team training sub for one year(5)

International team = EG Y PT

For one = EG (for example)
[I for one = I for example]

One Year = Y
PT = training (sub means after or under)
put PT after EG Y

Hi Rosie - I'm really struggling with this one as well! I make it Egypt; & can only think it refers to their international team.

Perhaps you can help with 19 ac. Limbo?? But why? Also,13ac. 17ac. & 13 Down - something soldier I guess; plus any explanation particularly for 13 ac. Ta.

Just solved them! But why five for 13 ac & still don't know 19ac.

POSTING TIPS
1. State the name (and number if available) of the puzzle in the thread title. "Stuck", "Help!!!" or "Last One" aren't very useful titles.
2. Give the clue number, the clue and the number of letters and please put this number in parentheses at the end of the clue. If no number of letters is given in the puzzle, then tell us. It also helps to know if the clue is cryptic or general knowledge.
3. Tell us which letters you already have. Try to use spaces around the character you choose for missing letters as it makes it much easier to read. Also try to ensure that the letters given match the stated number of letters in the clue.
