Observation seems not to be your forte!

Let's not be rude to newcomers, bernie.

Any ideas as to how we can make them clearer?. They already have bold print and have a coloured background.

We all have to start somewhere sometime so perhaps we need to show a little patience! However I agree the posting tips are very obvious if you trouble to read them! I think newcomers don't always realize that we don't all have the relevant newspaper etc in front of us!

Maybe admin. could advise newcomers (when registering for the first time) to read though the forum rules and posting tips which could be shown in one place (at the top of the forum( as well as the tips being shown where they already exist). Hopefully admin. will read this thread. Thank you. Over and out.

One useful hint I was given early on was use ? For unknown letters rather than - - as its easier to see.

I think we all agree on that redcoral. That should be added to the posting tips.
