fair enough, I don't do the guardian and was not aware of the cheat option.

I do think if hints are wanted rather than answers perhaps it should be stated,otherwise people may not know (like me).

You make a good point there, chelle - enquirers could give more indication of what they want.

....and I suppose that it's quite likely that solvers who only use the paper might also be unaware of the "Cheat" function!

Anyhow I will baer it in mind in future.

There is also a "check" key which helps if you are not sure about your answer.
